Vendor Information
This is one of the longest running, most prestigious trials in the country and draws exhibitors from coast to coast as well as Canada. Many of these competitors are dog breeders, trainers, and livestock owners.
The Bluegrass Trial is not just for sheepdogs. Masterson Station Park is pet friendly. Spectators can bring the family dog. This gives vendors and sponsors an opportunity to reach a very large canine-friendly audience.
A free catalog is distributed to all spectators and exhibitors. It features an explanation of the trial, trial course diagrams, a daily running order of exhibitors and their dogs, a list of vendors on site, and information about our sponsors.
Vendor space is again available at the trial. Your booth, tent, table, or truck can be set up next to the trial field for a great view and direct contact with all the exhibitors and participants alike. Vendors will be listed in the catalog and our announcers will read your prepared business and product information repeatedly during the trial on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
There is a sponsorship category and ad size for any budget. See the Sponsor Form. Sponsors receive a free ad in the catalog. In addition to the benefit of your ad being seen by thousands of people we can also promote your products by passing out your coupons and gift certificates to exhibitors and spectators. Preferred seating for sponsors and advertisers will be available.
Your vendor space, sponsorship or advertisement helps defray the cost of putting on such a large event. Approximately 800 sheep are leased just for use at this trial. Judges are flown in from various parts of the country. Daily prize money is awarded to the top scoring dogs as well as the top dogs in the last day of competition.
