Bluegrass Classic Stockdog Trial, May 12-16, 2010

Entry Form

 

 

Separate entry form required for each handler.

 

NOVICE (Wed. & Thurs.): $30 per dog per day

PRO-NOVICE (Wed. & Thurs.): $40 per dog per day

RANCH (Fri. & Sat.): $45 per dog per day

USBCHA NURSERY (Wed.-Sat.): $30 per dog per day

OPEN: $150 per dog (includes 2 Open runs, plus Finals for top 20 dogs) Limited to two Open Dog entries.

                (Open I: Wed/Thurs, May 12-13.  Open II: Fri/Sat, May 14-15.  Finals: Sunday May 16)

 

 **If entering 2 Open dogs, please send a separate check for your second Open dog entry.

 

Entries must be postmarked on or after Wednesday February 3, 2010 for the Open and the Novice field.  These entries must be received by Susan Carvalho as of Monday March 1, 2010 to be eligible for the initial draw.  This draw will be posted by March 8, 2009.  Any Open field entry not received by March 1, 2010 will be placed on the waiting list, regardless of postmark date.

 

Novice field entries close at noon on April 24, 2010.  Draw for the Novice field will be posted within two weeks of the start of the trial.  No limit on entries is anticipated for the Novice field.

 

*134 dogs will be accepted on the Open field (limit 2 per handler, with first dogs drawn by random selection, and second dogs entered by a second random draw if 134 slots are not initially filled).  First and second entry draw will be done according to postmark date.  Entries will be drawn by household, not by quantity sent per envelope.  The last day for refund of entry fees is prior to noon on April 24, 2010.  Checks will be cashed April 24, 2010.   

 

The KBCA reserves the right to close entries, or to limit the number of dogs per handler per class, as deemed necessary based on number of entries received.

 

** It is the Handlers’ responsibility to review the "Handler Info" page of the Bluegrass website at www.bluegrassclassicsdt.com for complete information related to Handler draw and trial specifics, as well as information about purse, judging, lodging, camping, etc.

 

*Substitution of dogs will be allowed only if reported to the Trial Secretary the day prior to the running of each Class.  Starting times at sunup (6:30-7:00 a.m.) all days.
