Camping and Hotel Information

We do have on-site camping for campers and motor homes, without electrical or water hookups; no fee is required.  A cleaning service can empty your tank once during the trial, on Friday ($25 for black, $25 for gray, $50 for both—tickets will be sold onsite). If possible, our crew will also fill your water tank.  Tent camping is NOT allowed in the park. 

Camper sites with hookups, as well as tent camping, is available at the Kentucky Horse Park Campground, about 5 miles from the trial site (I-75, exit 120); consult http://www.kyhorsepark.com/sub.php?pageid=54, or  888-459-7275, for details.  Full hook-up, laundry, pool and showers. 

There are a multitude of motels to choose from at I-75 Exits 113 & 115.  Below are a few favorites of those who have competed in BG trials past:

Please note:  There is a block of rooms reserved for Bluegrass attendees at the Red Roof Inn. Mention KBCA or Bluegrass Trial and you'll get a discount of $10 per night off their regular rate.  Rooms must be reserved at least 30 days before the event.Rooms are limited to reserve early.
